You might be seeing a new face around the clinic! We are very excited to welcome our newest member to the staff - Dr. Rachel Lamberson! 🐾 👩‍⚕️

“Dr. Rachel Lamberson was born and raised in Flower Mound, Texas. She attended Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Dr. Lamberson and her husband, Logan, moved back to the Texas Panhandle in 2025, and have enjoyed being back in the north Texas sun.

Dr. Lamberson and Logan share their home with Shiloh (the sweetest mini Aussie), Marty (a sassy tuxedo), and Lenny (the most lovable orange tabby). When not working, Dr. Lamberson and Logan enjoy skiing, traveling, stand-up comedy, and live music.

Dr. Lamberson is incredibly passionate about feline medicine and making veterinary visits a pleasant experience for all pets and people. She thoroughly enjoys internal medicine, building relationships with clients, ocular and dental surgery. Dr. Lamberson is excited to meet you, and serve you and your pets!”

Happy National Cat Day!

Today we celebrate our fabulous feline friends — the purrs, the headbutts, and even the occasional cattitude. 🐱💛
Give your kitty some extra snuggles (if they’ll allow it 😉) and share a photo in the comments — we’d love to see them!

We would like to introduce this sweet kitten. Minnie came in today for her first visit with Dr. Conner.

We would like to introduce our newest veterinarian - Dr. Marina Conner! 🐾

She will be working mainly at the Carson County Veterinary Clinic location but will also highlight at our and High Plains Animal Hospital location.

Welcome to Dr. Conner! 🐱 ⚕️👩‍⚕️

“Dr. Marina grew up in Rowlett, Texas, a suburb east of Dallas. From a young age, second grade to be exact, she knew she wanted to attend Texas A&M University and become a veterinarian. After graduating summa cm laude with a B.S. degree in Entomology at Texas A&M in 2020, Dr. Marina graduated summa cm laude from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. As a veterinarian, Dr. Marina, desires to serve people through caring for their animals. Her veterinary interests include anything from cats, cows, horses and dogs to pocket pets, bees and reptiles. Outside the clinic, Dr. Marina enjoys running, hiking, crocheting and fellowshipping at church. She also enjoys spending quality time with her two cats Teddy and Ginger and her ball python snake, Mrs. Nielsen, named after her first grade PE teacher.”
