Story:
We had a very special send-off for one of our skilled residents as he prepared to discharge home 💫 Charles shared his talent and heart with us by putting on a show for staff and fellow residents.
Chaz-Bo the Clown and Carlos the talking Coyote!
He and his wife began clowning together back in the 1970s and spent decades bringing joy through clown ministry.
What a gift it has been to witness his passion, creativity, and joy. Wishing him all the best at home—thank you for making our days a little brighter ❤️

Today’s activities included: jumping in leaves, throwing leaves, wearing leaves… and maybe even accidentally bringing a few back inside.

Activity: Moo Moos & Mimosas

Story: We had the best time at the Moo Moos & Mimosas Spa Party! 💕 A huge thank you to our amazing therapist Jennifer Brown and her wonderful parents, Jim and Carol Byard, for hosting such a fun and heartfelt event.

Jim built a beautiful handmade bench that was raffled off during the party — with all funds raised going to support our Activity Director and her husband as he continues his recovery.

To celebrate the raffle drawing, Jennifer, Carol and Jim treated our residents and staff to a relaxing Moo Moos & Mimosas Spa Party! 🌸

It was a day filled with laughter, love, and community spirit. We’re so grateful for our incredible team and the families who make North Point such a special place to call home.

Activity: Boy Scout Sale at the Methodist Church

Story:
Thursday was a truly meaningful day for our beloved resident, Stan. Thanks to the dedication of our Social Services Director and our wonderful MDS nurse, Stan was able to take a special trip to the Boy Scout sale at the Methodist church — a place that holds many cherished memories for him.

Stan once attended this very church, and walking through its doors again brought back a flood of emotions. While touring the building, he paused in front of a plaque that proudly bears his name — a touching reminder of the lasting impact he’s made in his community.

It was a beautiful afternoon filled with smiles, stories, and connection. Stan said he had a wonderful time — and we could see the joy all over his face. 💙
