What an amazing response to this need!! Because of the generous outpouring of support, the needs of clothing have been met! The family is now accepting any household toiletries and personal hygiene products.

On January 25, 2026, Ben and Hannah Aude lost their home in a fire. Fortunately, everyone is safe, and their three children were not home at the time of the fire. While no one was injured, the family lost nearly all of their personal belongings and is in need of support as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.

Hannah is a dedicated member of the Osawatomie Fire Department—the very department that responded to and worked the fire at their home. She also serves on several boards that support and strengthen our communities, continually giving her time and energy to help others.

The Aude family truly embodies the definition of selflessness. Now it’s our turn to help them, just as they have helped so many in our community.

There are several ways to assist, including monetary donations through the Sheriff’s Fund. Donations can be made by scanning the QR code to donate digitally or by visiting any First Option Bank location.

The family is also in need of clothing and essential items. Sizes needed are listed below:

Children

Boys:
• 4T shirts and pants
• 5T shirts
• Size 9 shoes
• Size 6 diapers

Girl:
• Size 12/14 pants
• Youth large or adult small shirts
• Adult XS underwear
• Size 3–4 shoes

Adults

Ben:
• 42x32 pants
• 2X shirts
• Size 13 shoes

Hannah:
• 2X–3X shirts and sweatpants
• Size 22 pants
• Size 8.5 shoes

Clothing can be dropped off at the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, 209 S. Pearl Street, Paola, KS 66071

They grow quickly and shoot off more starts. You can easily propagate. These are great to have in your home to help clean the air.

The Better Equine Tack, Feed & More store is located here for your shopping convenience, along with our large sandy 170 x 240 Outdoor Arena.

Conveniently Located between Paola, Wellsville, Ottawa, Rantoul and Osawatomie Kansas! Seriously we are about 10-15 miles from each town! Rantoul (5 miles actually!) Close Riding Spots; 5 Miles from Rantoul, Kansas - Ride the Rails 10 Miles from I-35 & 68 Hwy 15 miles from Saddle Ridge Trail riding area at Hillsdale Lake, in Hillsdale, Ks.

Clean Port-a-Potty on site. Water available for horses.

Better Equine Store Open - Shop Local! - The Better Equine® store is open every Monday through Friday from 9 am - 5 pm Saturday 9 - 1). Cool off and do some shopping for any supplies!

Horse Massage & Assessments Available - We have several Horse & Human Massage Therapy Companies available to meet you here to work on your horses! Ask us for their numbers and setup a time for them to meet you here at the Ranch! Call to set up an appointment at 913-731-2509 (9 am - 5 pm)

Monthly Events - Crossfire Ranch Fellowship is hosted here! - 1x per month on Tuesday evening starting at 6:30 pm Fellowship is here! Open to all and super fun. Attend fellowship and You and your guests can ride, track cattle and rope for FREE after fellowship! For dates and more information visit their website. Fellowship nights are led by Cory Young of Golden Spur Ministries.
