I mixed up some 2-1 sugar water for the bees that were flying around looking for something to eat my Rosa Sharon are done and I think they liked their plates of sugar water and I put some in an old birdbath also wow did they bring friends!!

Today was a beautiful day!

I dug 4 holes, busted up the good looking soil, water added in each spot, then planted my first Red Aronia Berry bushes.

After I got the soil pushed down around each bush I Topped them off with more water. 💦 This will close up any air spaces. I added the cages so we can easily see they are not Weeds 😂!

We sure could use a good rain here as we are quite dry.

I learned anout Aronia berries after eatimg some delious bread made by Becky Thorpe that had these berries included.

My understanding is Aronia berries are more nutrious than elderberries! I’m anxious to get a sack from Becky and make some tincture out of her beautiful berries.

I make tincture out of dandelions and elderberries now. I feel they work real well with my journey back to health.

Enjoy the beautiful blue skys at Better Equine Ranch!

Our ranch is the home of various livestock like horses, goats, chickens, cattle, ponies and of course dogs and cats! We gather eggs, use our own home grown herbs, veggies and have a farm store full of dandelion, elderberry and aronia berry tinctures, liniments, honey, herbs, chemical free skin nourishment formulated and made here in small batches just for you!

We keep Kombucha on tap made by our friends at Tea-Biotics here too.

We are always working somewhere so we do not have regular hours. Make sure you give us a call to come see the farm and shop our store! 913-333-2657 I also deliver to Paola on most Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays.

Looking for 6 pieces of decent galvanized tin (not all rusted out) to use under my Manure spreader planters for easy mowing around for Bill. They can have holes in them feom screws or nails

Im looking for them to be at least 8’ long X standard width
