Collage Rehabilitation Partners Moving lives forward, one step, one day & one person at a time.

Since the August 2020 merger of Learning Services and ReMed our teams have worked hard to bring our organizations together, implementing best practices and making our organization stronger and smarter. For 35 years, our programs have been the recognized expert for treating highly complex, post-acute neurorehabilitation and neurobehavioral cases. These years of experience have taught us that collaboration, communication and partnering are pivotal to success.

Six years after a life-altering brain injury, Brady Reardon has returned to his passion: the skate park. A former BMX and skateboarding enthusiast, Brady recently resumed his activities thanks to a collaborative initiative at Collage Home & Community Rehabilitation Partners in Austin, Texas.

Supported by his dedicated therapy team, including Stephanie Ruiz (RT), Lisa Wallace (OT), and Koko O’Meara (PT), Brady connected with Ability Skateboarding & Action Sports. Despite typically requiring assistance from two individuals to stand, Brady demonstrated remarkable progress by successfully performing small jumps and grinding a rail. The sense of freedom he now possesses has been fully restored.

Rey Harris, a former patient of Collage Home & Community Rehabilitation Partners in Austin, Texas, recently joined a community meet-up at the The Blanton Museum of Art. Accompanied by Physical Therapist, Kendall McNamara, Rey practiced building endurance and navigating a community setting while using his rollator. It was a wonderful day of art and connection with fellow patients and therapists.

Exciting news to share from Learning Services in Escondido, California!

In recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month, our team and clients hosted a car wash and bake sale with one big goal in mind: raising enough funds for our clients to visit to Universal Studios. Because of the incredible generosity of our neighbors, friends, and community partners, the suds were flying, the treats were selling, and the support was overwhelming.

Lauren Taylor, a patient at Collage Home & Community Rehabilitation Partners in Austin, Texas, recently engaged in printmaking with Art Therapist, Deborah Trejo.

Beyond creating beautiful artwork, she diligently worked towards her recovery objectives. Supported by Stephanie Ruiz (CTRS) and Kristina Magaha (OT), Lauren practiced using her right arm and developed creative methods to adapt her grip following her 2025 stroke. In addition to the physical exercises, the session provided an environment for Lauren to connect with others, enhancing her confidence in both speech and word retrieval. We are immensely proud of Lauren's progress!
