Watching the news last night, I was left with a familiar feeling: frustration. The talking heads and politicians are still debating the same things they were 50 years ago, and Shirley Chisholm's words from 1968 ring truer than ever: 'We have never seen health as a right. It has been conceived as a privilege.'

While they argue about systems, they forget about people. They forget the stress a family feels when a child gets sick, or the fear of a bill that could derail a small business. They forget that access to care is not a political football; it's a fundamental human right.

This is why I believe so strongly in . It’s the radical idea that we don't have to wait for a broken system to fix itself. We can build our own. We can create something local, personal, and focused on keeping us well, not just treating us when we're sick.

With some of those programs changing, next year's costs could look very different, and I'm worried about what that means for us and our friends and neighbors.

It feels like the ground is always shifting under our feet when it comes to healthcare. It has compelled me to create more stable, predictable, and local solutions for our community. What are your thoughts on this? Feeling a little uncertain too?

It is moments like these that make me passionate about finding a better way forward, together.
