April may be coming to a close, but it’s never too late to raise awareness 💙

Oral Cancer Awareness Month is an important reminder to stay informed and proactive about your health. Oral cancer can affect the lips, tongue, cheeks, throat, and more—and early detection truly makes a difference.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:
• Watch for persistent sores, lumps, or red/white patches in your mouth
• Difficulty swallowing or a constant sore throat shouldn’t be ignored
• Risk factors can include to***co use, heavy alcohol consumption, and HPV

At our office, routine exams include checking for signs of oral cancer because your health goes beyond just your smile.

If you’ve noticed anything unusual or it’s been a while since your last visit, give us a call—we’re here for you 🤍

Did you know February 28th is Tooth Fairy Day? 🧚✨

We LOVE celebrating those tiny milestones! Losing baby teeth is such an exciting time — and a sign your child is growing up with a healthy smile.

🦷 Tooth Fairy Tips:
• Gently wiggle — don’t force a loose tooth
• Keep the area clean
• Save the tooth in a special container if needed
• Continue brushing carefully around tender spots

Here’s to magical memories and healthy smiles!
If your little one has a loose tooth (or a few!), we’re always happy to answer questions.

Happy Tooth Fairy Day! 🧚💫

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month! 🎉

Healthy habits start early, and we love helping our little patients build strong, confident smiles.

👶 Tips for Healthy Kiddos:
• First dental visit by age 1
• Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste
• Help your child brush until about age 7–8
• Make flossing part of the nightly routine
• Choose water over sugary drinks

Creating positive dental experiences now sets the stage for a lifetime of healthy smiles. We’re here to make visits fun, educational, and stress-free! 💙

Love was in the air last week… and maybe a little extra sugar too! 💗🍫

Now that Valentine’s Day has passed, it’s the perfect time to show your smile some extra love.

Sweets and treats can stick around on your teeth longer than you think — and cavity-causing bacteria LOVE that.

✨ Friendly Reminder:
• Brush twice a day for two full minutes
• Don’t skip the floss (yes, it really matters!)
• Rinse with water after sweet treats
• Schedule your routine cleaning if you’re due

Your smile deserves love all year long — not just on Valentine’s Day! 💝🦷

🦷 This Week's Dental Tip🦷

Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile. Plaque that isn’t removed daily can harden into tartar, which irritates the gums and may lead to gum disease over time. Brushing twice a day and flossing once daily helps remove plaque before it causes inflammation or bleeding.

🪥 Bonus tip: If your gums bleed when you floss, don’t stop—this is often a sign that your gums need more consistent care, not less. With regular flossing, bleeding usually improves within a week or two.

Small habits make a big difference in your long-term oral health! 💙

🦷 February is National Gum Disease Awareness Month! 🦷

Did you know that gum disease is one of the leading causes of tooth loss—and it often starts silently? Red, swollen, or bleeding gums can be early warning signs, but the good news is that gum disease is preventable and treatable when caught early.
Regular cleanings, good home care, and routine exams go a long way toward keeping your smile healthy from the roots up. If it’s been a while since your last visit, this month is the perfect time to check in! 💙
