April may be coming to a close, but it’s never too late to raise awareness 💙
Oral Cancer Awareness Month is an important reminder to stay informed and proactive about your health. Oral cancer can affect the lips, tongue, cheeks, throat, and more—and early detection truly makes a difference.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
• Watch for persistent sores, lumps, or red/white patches in your mouth
• Difficulty swallowing or a constant sore throat shouldn’t be ignored
• Risk factors can include to***co use, heavy alcohol consumption, and HPV
At our office, routine exams include checking for signs of oral cancer because your health goes beyond just your smile.
If you’ve noticed anything unusual or it’s been a while since your last visit, give us a call—we’re here for you 🤍
