We enjoyed delicious pumpkin, sweet potato, and caramel apple pie with apple cider. Then we played the card game Gobble. Watching the residents race to act out Thanksgiving motions and slap the pile to “gobble” up the cards was the best part. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Fontenelle Forest taught us so much about the incredible bird species that live along the Platte River. We learned how different birds migrate and how to identify them by their calls and colors, and why this river is such an important habitat. The residents enjoyed the presentation and loved seeing materials they brought to share.
