Have you been going in circles trying to lose weight…and keep it off?

I get it—because it’s been my story too. Myself and all three of my kids have struggled with weight gain and weight loss resistance. It’s bad enough when it’s ourselves, but having kids upset over their weight is extremely emotional and difficult.

For sake of their privacy I’m not posting their before/after photos, but I’ve realized how crazy it is that they have ALL had issues and now have completely transformed into healthy (and happy!) weights.

The four images in the video clip are from all of our genetic reports.

My kids (ages 19-22) now all are very aware of protein intake and seed oils, so I’m thrilled some of my own habits have rubbed off!

But what has given the greatest “ah-ha” insight into WHY we have all had challenges is seeing our genetics. 🧬

Unfortunately they have gotten many of my bad genes, and there are alot! BUT… knowledge is power and this testing has been a “lightbulb revelation” for me for all aspects of health.

Our DNA revealed why we’re more susceptible to weight struggles and gave us the key to what our bodies actually need. Things like…
• How well we detox (or don’t)
• How efficiently our mitochondria (our energy factories) are working
• Our susceptibility to inflammation

These are major drivers that go far beyond diet and exercise—and once we knew, we could finally stop guessing and start prioritizing what really moves the needle for us.

The biggest thing I see in our genetics that has played a role? Poor DETOX genes.

So if you’re frustrated and ready for a fresh start as summer winds down, maybe it’s time to look at your genetics instead of jumping on another restrictive diet or short-term detox protocol.

✨ Want to know what your DNA says about your weight? Let’s chat about getting you started with a simple genetic test.

As we move through midlife—and especially if you’ve dealt with chronic stressors like Lyme disease or Mold toxicity—your body may be silently accumulating senescent cells.

These are “zombie” cells—damaged cells that refuse to die. Instead, they linger, spread inflammation, and accelerate aging from the inside out.

This buildup contributes to:
• Brain fog and fatigue
• Slower metabolism
• Joint pain and inflammation
• Poor recovery
• Higher risk of age-related diseases

Senolytic formulas can be a game-changer. I’ve done this once in the past, but didn’t think of how it may help me now until I saw it mentioned by a Lyme specialist I follow.

They help your body clear out these dysfunctional cells—like a cellular house cleanup!🧹

For even more powerful Biohacking, consider the following as well….
🌟Raising your NAD levels and supporting your mitochondria can help prevent these zombie cells from forming in the first place.

So if you’ve been working on healing from Lyme or mold, or just want to feel sharper and more energized in midlife, supporting senescent cell clearance, mitochondrial health, and NAD levels provide protection that is next level root-cause aging support.

As I’ve detoxed from Mold and now working on Lyme, I’m going after those unwanted zombie cells in effort to increase my vitality.

✨ Ladies, stop blindly taking DIM for estrogen detox — especially in menopause.

Here’s why….

A lot of women are told to take DIM (diindolylmethane)… but here’s what they’re not told:

➡️ DIM pushes estrogen down the 2-OH pathway. That’s only helpful if your genetics and overall hormone picture support it.

In menopause, we already have lower estrogen to begin with — and pushing it down further without understanding your body’s unique blueprint can make symptoms WORSE and cause other potential issues.

The smarter approach?

🌈ACTIVATE THE NRF2 PATHWAY.

NRF2 is your body’s master switch for antioxidant defense and detoxification. When activated, it turns on the genes that help process and eliminate hormones safely — without forcing estrogen lower like DIM does.

At this phase of life, we want to hold onto all the estrogen we can!

Activating NRF2….

✅ Supports healthy estrogen detox
✅ Protects mitochondria and brain health
✅ Reduces oxidative stress and inflammation (both higher in menopause)
✅ Works with your body’s design, not against it

Be aware that some women have genetic SNPs (like COMT, CYP1B1, GST, or MTHFR) that mean DIM or high-dose cruciferous extracts can actually backfire — especially if Phase II detox isn’t keeping up.

💡 Genetic testing + NRF2 activation is a far more targeted strategy — and one I use with myself and clients every day.

📌 If you’re in menopause or on HRT and want to optimize your detox pathways instead of guessing, let’s talk. This is your blueprint for aging well.

Sleep is Non-Negotiable for Aging Well & Brain Health.

Sleep isn’t just rest—it’s restoration. If you’re not sleeping well please do not ignore how crucial this is to improve!

During deep sleep, your body does its most important behind-the-scenes work:
• Cellular repair
• Hormone regulation
• Detoxification
• Memory consolidation

In fact, sleep is when your brain flushes out toxins through the glymphatic system, helping protect against cognitive decline and neurodegeneration. This is crucial for longevity, mental clarity, and even mood balance.

But here’s the problem…

😴 Sleep Disruptors in Midlife

As we age—especially in midlife—getting quality sleep often becomes harder. That’s not a coincidence.

🔹 Menopause & Hormone Shifts:
Fluctuating estrogen and progesterone can trigger night sweats, hot flashes, and anxiety—all of which can disrupt deep, restorative sleep.

🔹 Toxic Burden (like Mold or Lyme):
Chronic infections and toxic exposures increase inflammation and oxidative stress. They can trigger the brain’s immune system, leading to sleep disturbances, heightened nervous system activity, and even nighttime cortisol spikes (making you feel wired but tired).

🔹 Mitochondrial Dysfunction:
Both sleep quality and mitochondrial health are deeply connected. And many people dealing with mold or Lyme experience mitochondrial damage, which can reduce cellular energy needed for restorative sleep cycles.

When I work with clients, we dig deeper. Sleep issues are a clue—not just something to “power through.”

We can explore:
• Genetic factors that affect sleep hormones or detox capacity
• Possible hidden toxic burdens
• How to support your body with nutrients, gentle activation, and lifestyle changes to restore deep, healing sleep

These tools are what is currently helping me greatly improve my sleep! I also take compounded Progesterone at bedtime.

Comment below for information on any of these things and I can share my discount codes.

Struggling with brain fog, poor focus, or memory issues — especially if you’ve dealt with Lyme or dealing with midlife hormonal shifts?

Here’s something that might help 👇

Lion’s Mane Mushroom Extract is one of my favorite natural tools for supporting brain function.

👉 It helps stimulate nerve growth factor (NGF) — which supports brain repair, memory, and clarity.

This is a game-changer for people recovering from things like Lyme disease (and mold toxicity), which can cause inflammation in the brain and lead to anxiety, poor concentration, or even mood swings.

AND—if you’re someone who can’t handle caffeine well or feel jittery or crash quickly… it could be your genes. So this may be the support you’re looking for.

Some people have genetic SNPs (like CYP1A2 or COMT) that affect how they metabolize caffeine.
☕️ For those people, this product I use with the Lion’s Mane is a great non-caffeinated way to support focus and mental energy — without the crash. It has a powerful blend of other ingredients that truly do boost brain function.

I’ve seen this make a huge difference in helping me get through busy days. It’s what I recommend to clients who need the support when we review their genetic testing.

If you’re looking for a smarter way to support your brain, especially if you’re dealing with chronic illness or want to ditch the caffeine jitters, this is worth trying.

What does your oxidative stress say about your health?

On advanced lab tests like the Organic Acids Test (OAT) or the DUTCH Complete, there’s a marker called 8-OHdG — short for 8-hydroxy-2’-deoxyguanosine. It’s a mouthful, but here’s what you need to know:

👉 This marker reveals how much oxidative stress (aka cellular damage from free radicals) your body is experiencing — and that matters a lot for aging, energy, immunity, and inflammation.

Oxidative stress is linked to pretty much every disease and health issue out there!

I just got my results back, and despite actively dealing with Lyme disease and co-infections, my 8-OHdG marker is low and in a healthy range. 🙌

This is honestly incredible given what’s going on in my body right now — and it’s a powerful reminder of what’s possible when you support your body upstream.

I’ve been consistently activating my NRF2 pathway, which turns on your body’s own antioxidant and detox defense systems.

✨ This isn’t about adding more supplements — it’s about turning ON your body’s internal protection.

And clearly, it’s working.

Want to know how to start activating your NRF2 pathway? Send me a DM or comment “NRF2” below — I’ll point you in the right direction. 🧬

I love this kit to support detox and drainage!

I have found this to be a gentler and more comprehensive full body approach to supporting a detox protocol of any type.

Toxins get stored in our tissues throughout the entire body… pulling them out too fast and without support can cause reactions called “herx” reactions.

Stirring up toxins too abruptly can actually cause increased inflammation which can potentially make someone feel worse.

I’m adding this to my daily regimen as I am going through a Lyme protocol and need all the support I can get to push through it successfully.

The additional remedies that can be added are kind of fun and fascinating. This can be customized to whatever the person is struggling with, both physically and emotionally.

Who else has used this before?

06/29/2025

Curious who else has done a genetic test? Which one?

Who knows their MTHFR or COMT?

Do you know what to do with the results or are you missing information?

Anyone else in one of these Facebook groups I’m referring to?

It’s amazing how many people are seeking answers and so many are struggling!

As the song is titled, let’s win the game - of aging! Who’s with me??

💥Methylation: So crucial for our health, yet it’s much more than just MTHFR!

This is a foundational biochemical process your body uses to detox, make neurotransmitters, repair DNA, regulate hormones, and more.

You may have heard of the infamous MTHFR gene… but here’s the thing:

🔎 MTHFR is just one piece of the puzzle.

If you’ve only tested MTHFR, you’re missing the rest of the story—because methylation is a multi-step pathway, and many other genes play critical roles.

Here are a few others you need to know about:

✨ MTRR – helps regenerate methyl-B12. If this gene isn’t working well, your body may struggle to keep B12 in its active form—even if you’re supplementing.

✨ PEMT – supports phosphatidylcholine production, essential for liver function and brain health. PEMT issues may mean your detox and cognitive function aren’t firing at full power.

✨ CBS – This one is major. It can speed up part of the sulfur pathway, which may lead to:

• Glutathione depletion
• Ammonia buildup
• Histamine sensitivity
• Sulfur intolerance

Here’s the kicker:
⚠️ People with CBS SNPs might not tolerate glutathione supplementation well and they may also be very depleted in their own production… potentially causing many negative downstream issues.

If you’ve been confused or overwhelmed by your what you need most to support your body—and/or only know your MTHFR status—it’s time to get the FULL picture.

📌 I offer genetic testing that looks at your entire methylation and detox pathway, not just MTHFR. Let’s get you real answers and a targeted plan.

🔥 Want to turn on your body’s natural fat-burning switch—without the jitters or energy crash?

Let’s talk about LifeVantage Fat Burn, powered by a patented blend called Senetrol®. It happens to be on special sale right now through June 30th!

This isn’t your typical stimulant-filled fat burner. It works at the cellular level to help your body naturally shift into fat-burning mode by:

✅ Activating key enzymes (like AMPK) that support fat metabolism and energy production
✅ Supporting blood sugar balance and insulin sensitivity—two keys to losing stubborn fat
✅ Promoting thermogenesis, your body’s ability to generate heat and burn calories
✅ Encouraging the development of brown fat—a healthier, more metabolically active type of fat that burns calories (unlike white fat, which stores them)
✅ Supporting mitochondrial function, so your cells can efficiently convert fat into usable energy

Here’s the cool part: Brown fat is rich in mitochondria, your cell’s energy factories. The more brown fat you have, the more fat your body can burn for energy—especially around the midsection.

FUN FACT - if your mitochondria is depleted, this can affect your ability to burn fat stores for fuel!!

If your weight won’t budge and your energy is low, this may be the missing piece.

⚡️Let’s fire up your mitochondria and unlock your fat-burning potential.
