My daughter is here ! She was birthed at home on 11/30/21 weighing 8lbs 7oz. My home birth was everything I had dreamed of. Although you truly do forget how hard labor is! π₯΅ Then again, she was almost double the size of my preemie son π It was a perfect labor β¦ until the very end. Once I got her head out, she had a bilateral shoulder dystocia, and heart rate began to drop. Yet with some hard pushes and the manipulation from my amazing capable midwife we got her out! People have asked me, do you wish you had been in the hospital due to the scare at the end? My answer is absolutely not! Had I been in the hospital she would have been immediately taken away by the doctors and nurses due to her heart rate and color. At home, she was put immediately on my chest right where she needed to be, and I was the one who gave her just a few mouth to rescue breaths and talked to her and she bounced back super quickly with normal APGAR scores within the necessary time frame. I have never felt so calm despite the circumstances. Hopefully Iβll get around to sharing my full birth story eventually π My doula took some professional pics during my labor and birth which I will definitely share some of once I have them β€οΈ

Some updates since I originally posted this ....
For the liquid multi - I only gave him 1/4 tbsp as a baby and now as a 1.5 year old I do 1/4 tbsp.
The fish oil is weight based with directions on bottle.
The formerly known as infant probiotic is made by . I no longer give him that daily, I just did until bottle was gone to help replenish any good bacteria depleted from the antibiotics given in NICU. Now I just give every now and then.

π€§ Nobody likes being sick or dealing with a sick kid. Yet, itβs part of life as kiddos build their immune system. However, it doesnβt have to be constant or severe illnesses. The body NEEDS additional anti oxidant support when sick, your immune system burns through them. I am a firm believer my viral illnesses have significantly decreased since doing this. If I do get sick itβs mild and short. Same for my son, he is currently sick and we have kept it to mild symptoms for just a couple days and he seems to already be on the mend. π₯°

I only ever do higher dosing Vitamin A and D for 2 days (which usually does the trick π). Otherwise I do vitamin C and Zinc, both which are water soluble until gone.

This lovely woman is my mother in law. About 2 years ago I asked if I could do some functional medicine labs on her.
We ended up getting her off conventional hormone replacement, and onto bio-identical hormone replacement.
She also had one of the lowest vitamin B12 levels I have ever seen still to this day.
I got her on a few different vitamins such as a multi, fish oil, B complex, and some antioxidants.
Additionally, she started doing intermittent fasting and she has been able to come off a few of her pharmaceuticals approved by her PCP.
The weight slowly started to melt off, not surprising. However, what has been the most rewarding is her change in her zest for life. From my perspective I have seen a complete 180. She has SO much energy, is constantly up bouncing around, smiling, dancing, and singing. It's like a fog has been lifted and she is more in the present and I've had the pleasure to see a beautiful side of her that was always there but I had not yet had the pleasure of seeing since we met β€οΈ

This is antibody testing for Covid I had done last week. I came down with Covid 7 months ago and I am still showing immunity.

Why is NO acknowledgement being made of natural immunity !? When proof of immunization is required for a job, at the airlines, or soon at restaurants.. WHY is this not acceptable !!??

When you apply to nursing school you must show proof of immunization or proof of positive titers. A positive titer is simply a blood antibody test. One achieves a positive titer either from natural immunity or immunization.
