Hey, I am the medical director of Lancaster County Osteopathic and Integrative Health. I would love to hire another physician. Looking for a self motivated, life long learner, who loves osteopathy and people. Our office sees all ages, but alot of pregnant and newborns and children. WE practice integrative medicine through the lense of osteopathy. We put our hands on every patient. We are incredibly family oriented (our kids came to work with us for years) and can offer you part time or full time work as an employee or as an independent contractor. So if you have followed LCOIH for any length of time, you know we love to highlight patient wins. We celebrate those, by putting leaves on our real health tree. All patients we post obviously have given us permission to share their story.

Dr. Boyer DO. All of these stories are special to me and are the why behind my what, but this story hits a little different. This story is a story of discipline and spiritual health. Both affect our physical bodies drastically. And when someone gets the fire to be well, prioritizing these two things can have lasting effects. I have never seen cholesterol numbers drop so significantly in three months as I did with Scott!!! Literally over a hundred point drop! Say what!!! oh and his Hashimoto is finally in remission after six years.! Can I encourage you if you are giving of yourself, In work or ministry, make sure you are prioritizing your health. Create sustainable disciplines both physically and spiritually that will keep you well. This man is a role model for all of us. He gives of self more than most and still has the discipline to take care of himself. Way to go Scott! Your LCOIH family is so so proud of you!!!

The first couple days we spent at a Christian youth conference. This was he'd at a local school. The students and staff stayed at the school for the week. Don't volunteers cost and chaperone teenagers while pastors locally and from other parts of Africa came to teach.

My job, was the set up a clinic to do health screenings for adult volunteers, pastors and their wives and to take care of any sick kids.

We found two tables and put a foam mattress on top so that I would be able to treat osteopath.

The first woman was one of the adult volunteers, cooking food for hundreds of us. Got to treat her neck, shoulders, and upper back pain, no doubt from from cooking.

Thank you so much for your support through donations, raffle baskets and buying bone broth. I went to Gambia with an amazing team of 10 other people from my church Gateway. While there we were able to work at a teenager youth conference and a rural village. As a gateway, mission team, it was the first time we were able to offer a medical component because myself and Christina Parker an RN went along on the trip. The impact we were able to make both at the youth conference and the village were amazing. I am humbled and so grateful to serve the Gambian people in this way. Over the next few days I'll be sharing some pictures. And as an extra bonus, I got to share the experience with my second son, Gavin. again, thank you so much for all of your support.

This is a great breakdown as to why it is not worth the risk to refuse vitamin k for your baby at birth.

I have a ton of discussions with my expectant mothers about my opinions surrounding birth and the interventions offered and expected. And while some are not necessary my thoughts about vitamin k are always the same. The potential benefit outweighs the risk!!!! Everytime.
