Yesterday, CarePlus NJ attended the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies, Inc. (NJAMHAA) Fall Conference 2025: Harvesting Hope – A Vision for Behavioral Health. Our staff was on site to make connections with fellow health agencies, raise awareness and share information about our agency. Thank you to our staff members Jenna Sherfer, and John Maisto (CarePlus Workforce Solutions - CPWS) for tabling the event. A special shout out to Rachel Weil, LPC, AC, NCC, CCMHC, and Kimberly Perez-Lucero, LAC for their engaging presentation Restore and Rise: A Trauma-Informed Path Through Yoga and Meditation, where they explored in-depth trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness, grounded in current evidence and best practices.
