The Valley Hospital is pleased to announce that it has been recognized by Healthgrades as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery for 2026 and one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Joint Replacement for three years in a row (2024-2026).

The Valley Hospital is 1 of 27 hospitals in the country to receive both awards and 1 of 3 in New Jersey.

Valley Medical Group is pleased to announce the launch of therapeutic massage therapy, a new service available through Valley’s integrative medicine practice.

Unlike traditional spa-based massage, therapeutic massage is a clinical approach to soft tissue therapy that focuses on specific health concerns such as chronic pain, muscle tension, stress-related disorders, and injury recovery. Treatments are provided by licensed massage therapists and integrated into a patient’s broader care plan through a collaborative relationship between Valley’s Integrative Medicine team and the patient’s additional healthcare clinicians.

“Our goal is to support the whole person – body and mind,” said Lori Nuzzi, DC, Director of Integrative Medicine for Valley Medical Group. “Therapeutic massage at Valley is more than relaxation; it is evidence-based bodywork designed to support healing, pain relief, and overall wellness.”

Therapeutic massage also offers both physical and emotional benefits, including reducing pain and inflammation, enhancing relaxation and mood, improving posture and mobility, and supporting recovery after surgery or injury.
