🚓🚑🚒🚉 This past weekend, Director Michael Tarantino, EMT Instructor Matt Ziemkiewicz, and EMS Instructor Tom Rose joined members of the Bergen County Office of Emergency Management & Bergen County Executive James Tedesco at MetLife Stadium for the NJ Transit Police/OEM disaster drill, held in preparation for the upcoming World Cup ⚽️.

The exercise highlighted exceptional response efforts and strong coordination among agencies from Bergen County, Meadowlands, and surrounding regions, including Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, and Emergency Management teams.

We are now accepting registrations for the NECI 911 Basic Telecommunicator Course starting February 17, 2026. This essential course provides foundational training for individuals pursuing or beginning a career as a 911 emergency dispatcher.

Participants will receive instruction in:

▪️Radio communications

▪️Dispatch procedures

▪️Professional and legal responsibilities of a telecommunicator

This course is designed to prepare students for the critical role of being the first point of contact during emergencies.
