Now Accepting Referrals & Registrations: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training Program!

Our DBT Skills Training Program helps participants build practical skills to manage emotions, cope with distress, and improve communication and relationships. Through a balance of acceptance and change, individuals learn how behavioral patterns influence thoughts, self-perception, and connections with others.

Program Options:

Adult Program (Ages 18+) – 14 Week Cycle
• Weekly individual therapy (in person or via telehealth)
• Weekly DBT Skills Training Group – Tuesdays, 5:30–7:30 PM (in person)

Adolescent Program (Ages 13–17) – 16 Week Cycle
• Weekly individual therapy (in person or via telehealth)
• Monthly family therapy session (one minimum)
• Weekly DBT Skills Training Group – Wednesdays, 5:30–7:30 PM (in person)

The adolescent program also includes a caregiver component, with weekly therapy and a caregiver DBT skills group held at the same time as the adolescent group.

Referrals and registrations are now open.

When a child or family is facing a crisis, immediate support can make all the difference.

Children’s Mobile Response & Stabilization Services provides rapid, in-person crisis support for children, youth, and families throughout Bergen County. Our goal is to help families safely stabilize situations at home by de-escalating crises, strengthening relationships, and reducing stress.

Available 24/7 for children and youth up to age 21

Our team provides:
• Response to the crisis location within 1 hour
• Crisis de-escalation and safety assessment
• A collaborative treatment plan with families
• Up to 8 weeks of stabilization services and support
• Discharge planning and referrals to community resources when needed

March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month, a time to recognize problem gambling as a serious public health issue impacting individuals, families, and communities across New Jersey and throughout the country.

Research shows that about 4% of youth and up to 10% of college students experience a gambling disorder, while 10–14% of young people may be at risk for developing an addiction. These numbers highlight the importance of education, prevention, and access to support.

At Care Plus NJ, we are committed to supporting our community through programs like CLIMB and our Gambling Disorder Program, which provide resources, treatment, and guidance for those affected.

This month is an opportunity to learn more, start conversations, and help reduce stigma. Staying informed and getting involved can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us.
