He is also a fellow of the American College of Ob/Gyn. He is the Founder and Medical Director of Ob/Gyn & Infertility Services of Northern NJ. Dr. Hakimi's practice is unique in a sense that many women from upstate NY to Pennsylvania seek his
skills and services. Among the many services offered, Dr. Hakimi excels in Advanced Gynecologic Laparoscopic Surgery (eg. Extensive Resection of Endometriosis off of colon, and Bilateral Ureterolysis to completely rid of endometriosis.) He is one of very few Gyn Surgeons capable to perform such procedures in the entire NY metropolitan area. Additionally, he is a trained and certified Robotic surgeon. Dr. Hakimi is also known for his success in Complicated Obstetrical & Gynecological Surgeries. For instance, many women having the diagnosis of multiple cesarean sections or Placenta Previa/Acreta/Percreta are told by their Ob/Gyns to seek their care elsewhere. Taking care of a woman with her 10th cesarean or a very complicated placenta accreta/percreta is a common practice for him. Additionally, Dr. Hakimi is one of the very few physicians in the entire metropolitan area who is skilled with the art of Forceps, Vaginal Breech Deliveries, and very difficult VBACs).
