One of my favorite days of the year is the first day I see a Robin in the spring. Well, just right now, not only did I see one, but close to 20 right around our house! The Robin is a sign of new growth and renewal. Showing one to move forward with grace, passion for their dreams, have joy, laughter and song in the heart. I love it when nature reminds me I'm on the right path. I just know it's going to be a good year!

I have been using essential oils for several years, but have never really been trained in how to use them properly. Looking things up on the internet does not suffice! LOL! I'm really looking forward to this class on Saturday because it's being taught by an aromatherapist with no ties to a brand. There's still room if you want to sign up.

Essential oils are everywhere now a days. And anyone can sell them. But it's so important to be educated about them so you can use them safely. Here's a great opportunity to learn from a certified aromatherapist. Class size is limited so sign up early to guarantee your spot. Hope to see you there!

Some of you may know, I am in school right now working on my holistic nutrition consultant degree, as well as studying herbalism. As part of my final research project I am required to have one last client who fits my research topic, which is nutritional support for the endocrine system. I am looking for someone to be that client. If you suffer from any of the following or think you may and want to work with me, please send me a private message.

Thyroid issues
Chronic stress - feeling wired but tired
Hormonal issues
Perimenopause or menopause
Difficult menstrual cycles

I am looking for someone who will be fully COMMITTED to the following:
- 3 to 4 month commitment
- open to changing the foods and beverages you eat/drink
- desire to use nutrition and herbs to help with your symptoms
- filling out intake forms to gather information about your situation
- filling out a 3 - 5 day diet journal
- meet with me in person 2 to 3 times, if possible, can also do video call (ie Zoom or Skype)
- weekly/bi-weekly check in calls

What you will get out it:
- current diet analysis
- recommendations on diet and lifestyle changes specifically for YOU.
- recipes
- educational handouts
- learn how to take control of your symptoms and not let them control you

I am looking to start working with someone right away. My project is due in April.

If you think you're up for completing all that's required and mentioned above, and truly want to be healthier, let me know.

In peace and good health,
Julie

The green smoothie is a bit of an art form, as that green can sometimes throw off the taste unless you know just what type of ingredients to counter that nutritional punch. These 34 recipes do it right. Check it out!

This video is a little long for a Facebook share, but it is completely worth the watch. It was a supplemental video I was required to watch for school. I have read about the Blue Zones and this is a great illustration of those areas. I would love to live to to 100 like these amazing folks. I think it's never too late to change our ways, that's why I'm studying holistic nutrition. Please take a little time for yourself today and watch this. Maybe it will inspire you to live a healthier life.

To find the path to long life and health, Dan Buettner and team study the world's "Blue Zones," communities whose elders live with vim and vigor to record-setting age. In his talk, he shares the 9 common diet and lifestyle habits that keep them spry past age 100.
