With saddened hearts we would like to share the passing of Chloie Miears. She was the mother of Leslie Miears Lange, long time co-owner of Paris Apothecary and Lee Ann's "pharmacy mother." She was an icon. Her company, IV Services of Texas, blazed the trail for home infusion in North East Texas and was the beginnings of Paris Apothecary. She is our legacy and will be greatly missed.

Chloie Ingram Miears, 88, passed away at 4:42 p.m. on February 23rd at Paris Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Chloie was born on September 20th, 1937, in the community of Post Oak in western Lamar County to Lottie Mackey Ingram and Carl Tooster Ingram. She graduated from Paris High School in 1957, where she proudly served as a majorette and was honored as Owl Sweetheart.
On August 30th, 1957, she married the love of her life, James Paul Miears. Together they built a marriage that spanned more than 68 years — a partnership defined by devotion, perseverance, faith, and a shared commitment to serving their community.
Early in their marriage, Chloie worked for the Texas Comptroller’s Office and the Texas Attorney General’s Office in Austin, Texas, to help put James through pharmacy school before they returned home to Paris. In February of 1964, the couple opened Miears Pharmacy, where they served the community for over 43 years.
In 1992, Chloie founded I.V. Services of Texas, Inc., the first home-infusion pharmacy in northeast Texas, serving patients throughout rural Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Her vision and determination expanded access to healthcare for countless families across the region.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lottie Mackey Ingram and Carl Tooster Ingram; her brother, Carl Ingram; her sisters, Faye Calvary and Amanda Crisp; her brothers-in-law, Archie Park, James Crisp, and Elton Calvary; and her son-in-law, Michael Hennessey.
She is survived by her husband of over 68 years, James Paul Miears; her sister, Patsy Park; her three daughters, Rhonda Hennessey, Leslie Lange and husband Reinhard, and Catherine Flynn and husband P.J.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy of strength, service, and deep love for her family will live on through each of them.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 28th, at the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ in Paris, Texas, with Dr. John Cannon officiating. A graveside service will follow at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in Paris, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, William Wilhelmi, Eric Lange, Drew Skeeler, and Tyler Skeeler, and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Skeeler and Jaxon Wilhelmi.
