We would like to introduce you to our business owner and head dentist, Dr. Jewell Meade!
Dr. Meade grew up in Corbin, Kentucky. Immediately after high school she moved to Midway, Kentucky where she attended Midway College of Nursing. After nursing school, she worked as a nurse at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. While working there she continued her education at the University of Kentucky; where she recieved her Doctoate of Dental Medicine degree in 1992. After dental school, she remained at the University of Kentucky to complete more advanced dental training in their general practice dental residency program.
In 1993, Dr. Meade began working at a private dental practice in Paris, Kentucky. She later purchased that dental practice in 1994, where she worked the next 12 years as a solo dentist. After 12 years being the sole dentist, she hired an associate dentist to help care for the large number of patients the practice had grown to have. A couple years later, Dr. Meade built her new state of the art dental facility at 2115 rocky drive. In the years since opening this new state of the art facility Dr. Meades team has grown to include her daughters and multiple associate dentist. With the help of her growing team she has gone on to open 2 additonal dental practices in Cynthiana, Kentucky and Georgetown, Kentucky. While Dr. Meade is thrilled to have all 3 dental practices, her first office in Paris, Kentucky Dental Health Associates hold a special place in her heart.
