As I sit and reflect on the past 16 years of working in recovery, both inpatient and outpatient, I feel truly blessed to have met so many people. I have met people in their darkest moments and had the privilege of seeing the transformation of who they are outside of the addiction world. They repair relationships, are parents to their children, and are working members of society. Along with the good I have had to accept the bad, which is losing someone that continued to struggle with addiction and no matter what they experienced they could not escape. I felt those losses and truly wished there was more that could be done to save them from addiction.
To the individuals that have allowed me to be a part of their recovery, Thank you! To the individuals that I couldn’t reach – please reach out to someone – You are worth it!
To the individuals that have helped me with referrals, inpatient placement and any other information that I needed – Thank you! Your work in recovery does not go unnoticed and I feel privileged to have met and worked with you over the years.
As 2026 begins I feel it is time for me to step away from Central Kentucky Recovery and see what the good lord has in store for me in this next phase of life. Although I may be stepping away the clinic will continue to care for our patients. I will continue to work in the recovery world so please know that ANYONE can reach out to me and I will do my best to help you.
Thank you again for allowing me to be apart of your recovery!
