True Teen Wellness

True Teen Wellness I help parents navigate teen mental health challenges using a comprehensive, holistic approach. What a celebration that was! Now I am here to help you.

Join us to learn about practical strategies, expert guidance, and resources to help your teen succeed! I know firsthand how daunting it can feel to make significant life changes, like facing what seems to be an uphill battle or leaving behind your only support system-your family. Embarking on a journey that required over a decade of schooling to achieve my dream was intimidating, to say the least. However, by taking small, manageable steps, I made my dream achievable. I apply this same approach with my patients every day, and it's truly rewarding to see their health goals become reality. From a young age I learned the values of hard work and compassion, often serving as the primary caretaker for my younger siblings and our animals. This sense of responsibility and care has stayed with me, shaping my approach to patient care today. My early experiences as a certified nursing assistant as a teenager further ignited my passion for helping others in a medical setting and solidified my aspiration to become a doctor dedicated to making a real difference in people's lives. Dr. brown is the founder and lead physician of true teen wellness clinics
My story really began the moment I left home from the Bishop Paiute Reservation with two small children to pursue a medical degree. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in Cell Biology and Biochemistry in 2001. In 2007, I became a Medical Doctor graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, then completing my Residency training in Family Medicine and Board Certification. As a Family Physician I have been privileged to help thousands of patients with holistic care, compassion and dignity.

Key reminders from this week:
• Hydrate first thing in the morning
• Carry water throughout the day for consistency
• Hydration supports focus, mood, and energy
• Caffeine should never replace proper hydration
• Small daily habits create long-term.

Before caffeine… start with water. 💧
Before scrolling… start with movement.

Hydrating first supports your brain, focus, and nervous system.
Moving your body even a short walk, light stretching, chores around the house, or simple at-home exercises signals to your body that it’s time to wake up naturally.

You don’t need a gym.
You don’t need a long workout.
You need consistency.

Water + movement = better energy, better focus, fewer crashes.

Small morning habits build strong foundations for teen wellness.

Meet Dr. Christina Brown 👋
Family physician. Author. Entrepreneur.
And the founder of True Teen Wellness.

After years of practicing medicine, I realized something important, teens don’t just need prescriptions, they need to be heard, understood, and supported as a whole.

True Teen Wellness was created to bridge the gap between physical health, mental well-being, confidence, and identity. This is a space designed specifically for teens where care is personalized, judgment-free, and rooted in real connection.

Whether you’re a teen navigating life, a parent searching for support, or an educator looking for resources you’re welcome here.
