If you want medical records sent to your new doctor now that we have closed, please follow the instructions below...

After October 1, 2025 all patient records will be sent to Desert River Solutions to be the custodian of medical records. Starting on October 1, 2025; please start requesting your medical records from Desert River Solutions. To request your medical record please visit the site below to sign and return the medical release form.

Under clear, sunny skies, hundreds of riders and their supporters were at Soldier Hollow Saturday for the 2025 Bike Festival. It’s the Olympic venue’s largest bike race and the only continental championship event in North America.

People of all ages and skill levels compete, and while many are based in Utah and Colorado, others traveled from the East Coast, California, Canada, Puerto Rico and even Germany to race.

Katja Opfer, Lily Lingard, Malia Brock and Ruth Knox competed in the U.S. Pro junior women’s 17 to 18 division. The race is four laps on a 5.1 kilometer course with 195 meters of elevation gain per lap.

Opfer said the dust and the over-80-degree weather presented a challenge.

“You’re inhaling dust and also like you have to make sure that you’re fueling and you’re drinking water because of the heat,” she said. “So there’s a lot of things you have to be thinking about as well as going really fast and maintaining your position within the race.”

This week we highlight the Parks and Playground challenge. Exploring a new public space is always a fun adventure. Elevate literacy through comparing and contrasting the differences and similarities to places you visit often. Making connections between different ideas is a valuable skill that will help your child think critically in a school setting.
