This lovely patient had a facelift 3 years prior with another surgeon and was left dissatisfied by the residual heaviness in the cheek region as well as the unevenness in her neck. These are typical findings of a SMAS lift. So, we converted her old SMAS facelift to a true to give her a more natural and rejuvenated appearance. Some and a were added bonuses. Dr. Eric Cerrati is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah Medical Center. His surgical training included a residency at New York University Langone Medical Center and a fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery at University of Illinois, Chicago. His expertise includes facelift, rhinoplasty, endoscopic browlift, blepharoplasty, facial fillers, Mohs reconstruction and scar revision.
