Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Cerrati served as an Assistant Professor and the Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah. As such, he is considered to be a top facial plastic surgeon in the Mountain West region. Dr. Cerrati is a surgeon, educator, and author of scientific papers covering many facial plastic surgery topics. He is invited to lecture at numerous conferences both nationally and internationally to discuss his innovative techniques. He is known for his natural results in rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation surgery. His clientele is referral-based and receives the highest possible level of care and attention.

The goal of facial rejuvenation is to look as good as one feels. The treatment plan is different for all patients depending on age, concerns, genetics, goals, etc.
For this patient, I performed:
- mini deep plane facelift
- lower blepharoplasty
- rhinoplasty
The result is natural, youthful, and undetectable.
Plus, she just looks happier! 😁

This lovely international patient is just 1 month post . Perfect vectoring and a preservation approach created an optimal contouring of the midface without the need for fat grafting.

With the majority of my patients traveling in to see me, office photos are becoming harder and harder to get. Plus my patients are also becoming more and more private.

I’m grateful and honored for all of my patients, especially those that travel so far to see me (like this one from across the world 🌍!)

Beautiful neck and jawline contours following a and . To accomplish this, multiple layers of the neck were addressed followed by a complete muscle suspension. The result is soft, delicate, and defined - all characteristics of a and face.

Lots of little procedures were combined meticulously to create this natural, harmonious and beautiful result!

When is the best time to get a facelift?
This patient is 48 years old and is just 1 week postop. She looks and feels amazing. Not only is she thrilled, her husband cannot believe his eyes!
I do believe that early intervention has several benefits:
- “materials” are stronger
- easier recovery regardless of anesthesia type
- less dramatic of a change (less obvious that one had a surgical intervention)
- less likely to need multiple procedures at the same time
- results may last longer (for example - a patient in their late forties may get 15+ years vs a patient in their 70s may get 8+ years)

Dr. Eric Cerrati is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah Medical Center. His surgical training included a residency at New York University Langone Medical Center and a fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery at University of Illinois, Chicago. His expertise includes facelift, rhinoplasty, endoscopic browlift, blepharoplasty, facial fillers, Mohs reconstruction and scar revision.
