Balancing on boards.
Balancing on rocks.
Balancing life.

Yesterday was a recovery day.

Waves crashing against rocks. Low tide. Beach walk. Climbing around the shoreline. Time with a friend.

Every year, this California trip is a little different.

I come here to train SUP, see people I love, and keep showing up for my work.

Some days are focused and intense.
Some days are slower.
Some days remind me that recovery is part of the rhythm too.

This is the practice.

A willingness to keep adjusting, keep listening, and keep coming back to what matters.

I’ve been quiet because I’ve been living my work.

I’ve been taking care of my body, my training, my energy, my work, my clients, & my life.

Now I’m in California pursuing something that lights me up.

Standup paddle boarding!! Training with people I love and navigating the real world challenge of work + training + recovery + nourishment.

I strive to lead by example so I’m going to do more behind the scenes, sharing what I do.

What’s one thing you’re doing today to take care of your energy?

A simple experiment that turned out so well.

I steamed yuca and plantains for the first time, and it was incredibly easy. Boil water, place them on top to steam, and cook until soft. Then I kept the steam going and added a bundle of asparagus.

In the bowl:
Yuca, sweet potatoes, asparagus, red kidney beans, and a spinach dressing with pea protein added in to make the meal more balanced and higher in protein.

Remember that healthy meals don't have to be complicated. Simple foods, prepared well, can be nourishing, satisfying, and full of what your body needs.

Have you ever tried yuca or plantains at home?

This is where I come back to myself.

Skiing is one of my favorite things in this life.

A moving meditation.

Just me, the mountains, and the quiet invitation to be fully here.

The conditions are always changing.
The light shifts.
The snow changes.
Every run asks something different.

To pay attention.
To adjust.
To trust.
To let go.

I’m so grateful for every day I got to play on snow this season.

Ski season, I love you. Until next time. 🙏❄️🏔

This used to feel like being “good.”

Tracking.
Restricting.
Trying to eat less… or “perfect.”

But underneath it,
was a completely disconnected relationship with my body.

I didn’t trust my hunger.
I didn’t understand what my body needed.
I thought food was something to control.

Not something to listen to.

Now?

This is what it looks like.

Colorful.
Nourishing.
Simple.
Enough.

Not perfect.
Not restrictive.
Not earned.

Just… taking care of myself.

Most women I work with aren’t struggling because they don’t know what’s healthy.

They’re struggling because somewhere along the way
they learned they had to fight their body to be enough.

So they:
– eat too little
– then too much
– then start over

And call it discipline.

Taking care of yourself isn’t about control.

It’s about rebuilding trust with your body.

What would change if you trusted your body again? 👇

High performers don’t just push.
They recover.

After a breakthrough, your system needs integration.

That means:
– space
– stillness
– nourishment
– intentional recovery

Not as an afterthought—
but as part of the process.

If you’re always pushing forward,
you’re skipping the step that actually creates lasting change.

Taking care of yourself is the work.

Anyone else pushing when you actually need to pause? 🙋‍♀️

I knew I was meant to be in that room.
So I entered… and won.

For the past few months, I’ve been listening to — his music, his message, the energy behind it.

Then I found the Podcast and
And something clicked even deeper.

I’ve been in a season of expansion—
helping others push past limits, elevate their energy, and step into their potential…

…but I knew I had another level to unlock myself.

When I saw the giveaway for the Owakened Breathwork Experience,
there was no hesitation.

I entered with full belief: I’m going.

And I did.

What happened in that room wasn’t just breathwork.

It was release.
It was clarity.
It was stepping beyond the version of myself I’ve been holding onto.

We talk about performance.
We talk about longevity.
We talk about potential.

But the truth is:

You don’t access your next level by doing more.
You access it by removing what’s in the way.

This is the work.

Shredding limits.
Expanding capacity.
Aligning your energy with the life you say you want.

Not just physically—
but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

What are you ready to release right now?

👇 Tell me in one word.

I don’t train just to be strong.

I train so I can keep doing things that I love to do.

Strength is freedom.

Train for the life you want to live.

This meal isn’t about “clean eating.” It’s about fueling for longevity.

A conversation last week about strength over small stayed with me.

There was a time I believed lighter meant better.

Leaner meant faster.
Smaller meant disciplined.

I trained hard.
I ate “clean.”
I looked fit.

And I felt fine.

I was young.
My body was resilient.

But resilience can hide stress.

When women under-fuel, the body adapts.

Hormones shift.
Recovery changes.

You don’t always feel it right away.

High performance isn’t about being small.

It’s about staying powerful — for decades.

Longevity begins with nourishment, not restriction.

Are you fueling for your future self?

This morning I chose to slow down.

To sit.
To breathe.
To actually taste my food.

Nourishment isn’t just about macros.
It’s about presence.

Before the world asks for my energy,
I direct it.

Super simple breakfast: old fashioned oats, peach, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, ginger, and protein powder.

I don’t believe you need more discipline.
You need better direction for your energy.

My work isn’t about pushing harder or doing more.
It’s about removing what doesn’t serve you.

Most people aren’t failing because they lack motivation.
They’re exhausted because their energy is scattered — spent on noise, pressure, and “doing it all.”

Here’s what I believe:

• Doing more is rarely the problem. Knowing what deserves your energy is.
• Recovery is not a reward — it’s an essential part of performance.
• Your habits should expand your life — not consume it.

Just like interval training, life works best when effort is applied deliberately —
and recovery is intentional, not something you earn after burnout.

I help you move from constant doing to intentional living.
Focused work. Strategic recovery.

Simple, sustainable habits around movement, nourishment, breath, and sleep —
so you have the capacity to actually enjoy your life.

If you’re ready to stop proving and start directing your energy,
you’re in the right place.
