"This institution is an equal opportunity provider."

This page is to encourage, support and educate all about the important act of breastfeeding and using mother's breast milk for their baby. SFCHC WIC is available to make new mom/baby breastfeeding help visits to Parkland Hospital and home visits if needed. Please remember that advice from other moms should never replace the advice from medical experts. If you have questions or concerns about the health or the baby’s well-being please always contact your physician, lactation consultant and/or the breastfeeding support from WIC.

Caffeine is fine in moderation! ☕️

Making healthy food choices while breastfeeding helps you feel energized, but there is nothing like a cup of coffee! Limiting your caffeine intake will reduce the chance of a fussy baby, but a cup or two of coffee is okay while breastfeeding.
