You've probably seen us promote The Perfect Storm workshop before and maybe even gotten sick of our faces coming across your phone. 😂 This local workshop is actually part of worldwide educational content PX Docs practitioners present in their community, and it's been changing lives for almost 18 years now! So what is it? The Perfect Storm refers to the impact and transformative changes that pediatric chiropractic care can have on your family's life, especially if your child is facing chronic challenges like autism, ADHD, epilepsy, or autoimmune conditions affecting their gut, immune system, and related conditions like PANDAS and POTS.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 describes stressors that can disrupt a child’s nervous system development and lead to chronic illness, such as:

✨ Meet Elena ✨

1 in 31 children now has autism. Too often, conventional medicine reduces autism to a label to be medicated. But at SLC, we approach each child as a whole person and customize care to meet their needs, regardless of where they fall on the spectrum.

We've seen incredible transformations through neurologically-focused care. Children who were "Level 3" were becoming verbal. Kids who were "Level 2" were learning to self-regulate. Families getting their child back when everyone said, "This is just how it will always be."

For children at Levels 1 and 2, targeted chiropractic adjustments and nervous system stimulation strengthen communication between the brain and body. As the nervous system comes into balance, we see positive changes in social skills, behavior, cognition, and emotional regulation. For those at Level 3, we advocate for access to communication support in addition to chiropractic care. Our focus remains on empowering each child to reach their fullest potential through nervous system-based solutions.

Stress gets a bad rap as always being negative, but certain types of stress are actually necessary for building a strong, resilient nervous system! 🧠 But chronic stress? That’s what’s behind the anxiety, meltdowns, and focus challenges so many kids and parents alike face today.

Bad stress can look like:
