Claire, Nurse of the Year at Advocate Children’s Hospital is compassionate, uplifting and engages with patients creatively. She serves as the unit chair for Professional Governance and actively participates in various team-building activities. Her positive energy and dedication have earned her multiple DAISY awards. Her leadership skills and professionalism are evident in her role as preceptor and charge nurse, as well as her participation in various safety committees.

“Growing up, I always felt I had a drive and passion to help people. I was in between wanting to become a special education teacher or a nurse. I then completed a summer camp at Advocate Christ Medical Center in high school. That experience helped solidify my desire to become a nurse. Being able to put a smile on patients' faces to make their day a little brighter truly warms my heart. It drives me to be the best nurse I can be.”
