Residents had the pleasure of welcoming author L.D. Wenzel to the Summit of Uptown, where he delivered an engaging presentation on his latest book. Residents enjoyed an insightful Q&A, diving into the themes and inspirations behind his work.

L.D. Wenzel is an American novelist whose books explore faith, identity, and the complexity of belief. Originally from the Midwest and now living in Norway, he brings a thoughtful, literary lens to topics like religious culture and coming of age.

We recently hosted a fabulous group of ladies from The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Group for a hands-on charcuterie board workshop, led by the talented Chef Jacob.

Guests explored a variety of artisan cheeses and cured meats, learned expert tips on pairings and presentation, and crafted their own take-home boards — all while enjoying thoughtfully selected wine pairings.

It was a wonderful evening of culinary creativity, connection, and community. Bravo to Chef Jacob for delivering such an engaging and delicious experience!
