Hello Facebook! It’s been a minute, we’ve been so busy working hard and seeing patients we don’t always get a chance to say hi to everyone on the World Wide Web. How are you guys? Everyone staying safe? Maybe we can use this as an opportunity to engage with more of our friends on social media so shoot us some comments or messages if you’d like to interact!
We’ve been staying busy at the clinic as it has a whole new set up. There are now safety measures in place that require all patients to wash their hands and remove their shoes prior to entering. Also, the rehab room is now the waiting room and the waiting room is now the rehab room! We are constantly circulating the air and have two medical grade air purifiers going at all times. This setup will help us to maintain a cleaner environment for our patients and staff and we are looking forward to your feedback on ways to enhance it.
Currently, we are open! And encouraged to do so. The purpose of this is minimize the chance of having someone end up in the emergency room or even in their primary care physician’s office with a musculoskeletal related complaint. We’re happy to do our part during this pandemic. Our office is open for emergency patients and, if needed, patients who are on post-surgical rehab programs, experiencing severe radicular symptoms, and we will consider unique circumstances as well (just call!). We are also currently offering Telemedicine visits where we can talk to our patients about their conditions, provide an assessment, and prescribe exercises or stretches just like we would in the office. Just call to set up!
When will be seeing all patients? The proper answer is we’re unsure, but continue to monitor the situation very closely and will plan accordingly based on guidelines and recommendations given to offices like ours from the Federal Government and State of Illinois, as well as our local and national governing associations/affiliations unique to chiropractic and physical medicine offices.
Thank you for your patience and yours support during this time. Questions? Call, even if just to say hi. Driving by? Honk, a social distance wave would make our day. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
