The moment I stepped into the temple in Vientiane, Laos, the world shifted. The air was thick with the scent of incense, warm and gentle. The floor was cool beneath my feet. Light filtered softly through carved windows, painting patterns that danced across the walls. And then the chanting began—soft, rhythmic, deep—each note a thread weaving into my body, my mind, my heart.
A red Sai Sin bracelet was tied around my wrist. I held it in my hand for a moment, feeling the energy in it, feeling the blessing, and suddenly something inside me opened—a stillness so wide it felt like eternity, a love so vast it could hold the whole world.
I looked at the people around me. I didn’t just see them—I felt them. Their joys, their sorrows, their lives moving quietly beside mine. I loved them as if they were me. In that love, I felt life itself pulse through me: tender, infinite, whole.
And I realized something profound: the peace, the awareness, the love—it didn’t come from the temple or the bracelet. It was already inside me. The temple simply opened the door, and I stepped through.
Since that moment, I carry this calm with me everywhere. I feel my breath, the flow of my body, the quiet joy of presence. Gratitude spills through me. Love expands through me. Life feels alive, infinite, and deeply connected.
And I share this because I want you to feel it too: the stillness, the awareness, the love—they are always here. Always within you. Always waiting to be noticed. 🌿❤️
