💡 In patients with acute posterior cruciate ligament injury, the physiotherapy-led exercise and brace intervention showed statistically significant improvements in patient-reported outcomes at long-term follow-up of five years, and the need for conversion to PCL reconstruction for isolated PCL injuries was low with a conversion rate of 7%.

A peer-reviewed study published in the journal Circulation by researchers at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and the Texas Health Resources found that sedentary adults aged 45–64 who followed a 2-year aerobic exercise program—including moderate to high-intensity workouts 4–5 times per week—significantly improved their heart health.

The regimen increased cardiac elasticity and reversed heart stiffening, a key factor in age-related heart failure. The researchers concluded that consistent exercise could make the heart functionally 20 years younger in adults who begin training before age 65.
