☀️Tips for outdoor sun protection (uv rays can cause cancer if over exposed)☀️

• Apply your sunscreen to prevent damage from the sun. It is best to apply it indoors approximately 15 minutes before sun exposure.

• Application continues Every two hours that you are outside. Making sure that the exposed skin is covered including the face, ears, neck and shoulders, arms, legs and feet. Use lip balm with UV protection as well! Put another application on after coming out of the water.

• SPF # can be deceiving because #30 blocks 97% while #50 blocks 98%; but #100 blocks 99%.

• If you have older bottles of sunscreen make sure they have NO OXYBENZONE, NONE, on the label. In 2021 it was discovered that the spray on (mostly) were the ones and everything with it was pulled on
The market.
Special note: if you have kids on a swim team, life guarding, or anyone in your family or friends who spends a lot of time outdoors with little protection there are some very helpful whole food supplements to control hypervitaminosis D and keep the minerals in the blood stream at therapeutic levels.

• Keep Hydrated (keep sugar low)
• Take breaks from the water, activity, and direct sun.
• Choose your sunscreen well

I just read statistics that state 50% of
the money that the average house hold spends weekly is for snacks! 🍪🥨🍿🍟 Snacks are considered cookies, baked goods, candy,
snack bars, chips, ice cream treats and other deserts.

Amazing… that’s about an average of $150.00 a family.

What if you spent some of that money every week on organically grown foods? 🍎🍑🍊🍌I.E. one bag of apples; organically grown is about $2.00 more than a bag of chips!
OR...trade the candy and snack bar money for grassfed beef.

If you say life is hard then perhaps it is going to be easier if you know what you’re doing and the
best ways to manage it. While an individual can’t re-organize their life all at once, it is gratifying to manage one thing at a time.

For instance, special events take a different kind of planning than a regular week! However many events have commonalities that we can start ahead of time and become less stressed. This helps everyone around you as well.

✈️🚗🚍🛳Vacationing is a very special event, certainly when a Mom and Dad take the children along.
So what would happen if you made a list of all the parts of getting together a vacation. You might be leaving behind a home with needs: deliveries of packages and mail, plants and pets that need tending to. Leaving an itinerary for someone to contact you and forward important information. Next is what to bring and pack and plan the itinerary. Each person in the family may need something special. I find a CHECK LIST VERY HELPFUL! Engaging all members of the family to get all the chores done. Keep smiling and be positive, especially when you are required to make a change in plans!✈️🚗🛳🚍
