Most of you know “Buddy”, my marketing executive. Here he demonstrates his mastery of the Spanish language.
This is taken out back of where I grow your greens. After every market, I drive my tractor down this hill to give my hens the leftovers.
BTW, all the water I use to grow our greens comes from 600 feet below where “Buddy” stands now. I add a bit of distilled vinegar and also organic oregano oil and get the results I do.

Another seemingly magical day at market. Thank you all for coming out and supporting us! Enjoy those greens!

A lot of you ask what I do with the leftovers. Here’s a peek at my post market customers. They love market days. I charge them a dozen eggs per day in exchange for a steady stream of microgreens. Sometimes they even give me a tip and pay me a baker’s dozen!

These are my sunflowers. I’m sharing bc I got caught up and forgot I was soaking. My prescribed 4 hours turned into 48. Oops!

So I decided to try anyway, and worst case scenario it will be fodder for my hens (sunflower is their favorite).

This is the outcome! Not the best I’ve done, but up to par for the market.

No soil or H2O2, I put a ml of oregano oil in a gallon and I spray them down. Zero mold issues.

1/4 of the tray is 4.7 ounces, so I’m getting a bit over a pound off my trays (even when I screw up!

This was from last week’s market. Buddy is saying: Come get some Microgreens!

We have some gorgeous greens, but no market to sell them! Radish, broccoli, kohlrabi, kale, sweet pea (yellow and green), wasabi, mustard and arugula. Best of all, Sunflower is back! My grower cooked up a couple trays that are A++!

Our small containers are $8 and vary b/n 2-4 ounces, depending on variety.

Our standard large container is $16 and vary b/n 4-6 ounces, depending on variety.
