This week's staff spotlight is Smith. Andrew has been working with us since August of 2023 (Almost 2 years!). Andrew is one of our day shift BHT Leads. We appreciate all the support Andrew provides to the clients and the team! Here is what Andrew had to say: Hello, my name is Andrew. I was a completely broken man before stepping into recovery. I thought my problem was a drug problem. I had to realize that drugs were but a symptom of my problem. My problem was me. I started working in recovery to show people that getting clean is only a step. The best part of recovery is the peace of mind, the new and renewed relationships you build, the empowerment that everyday sobriety instills in you, and that no matter what your past is, what you have done, change is possible, and that you are not alone in this world. I want to show people that in sobriety, a smile no longer has to be a mask, but with helping others, can be the real thing.

This week's staff spotlight is CreelFox. Ashley is a Therapist and has been with us since June of 2021. Ashley has a Master of Science in Psychology and a Master of Philosophy degree and is currently a doctoral candidate for a PhD in Psychology. We are so grateful for Ashley's passion and commitment to furthering her education! Here is what Ashley had to say: As an individual in recovery, I deeply appreciate the power of connection, especially during the early stages. I am committed to helping individuals rediscover their true selves. Having been associated with CCA for nearly four years, I’ve gained invaluable insights from the clientele I serve. I strive to impart lessons on self-acceptance and embracing one’s identity. My love for this work fuels my passion for helping individuals triumph over the battles they face.

In May 2021, I earned my Master of Science degree with a concentration in psychology. In April 2022, I was accepted into the doctoral program at Walden University. By June 2024, I obtained a Master of Philosophy and am presently engaged in my dissertation research, focusing on supporting individuals in recovery.

This week's staff spotlight is Savage! Neva has been with us for about a year and a half. She started out working as a Behavioral Health Technician and was promoted to Administrative Assistant in addition to helping with the admission process for new clients. Thank you for everything you do to support the team and our clients, we truly appreciate you and are proud to have you on the team.
Here is what Neve had to say: "Waking up every day and getting to help others with their recovery is a blessing. It's not just a job. We are saving lives. Addiction stole 5 years of my life. If you had told me then what my life would look like today after having been sober for over five years, I wouldn't have believed you. I now know it is possible, and I get to help others take that first step into recovery. When clients come into our facility, I am one of the first faces they see. I greet them with a warm smile and a caring heart. I was once right where they were and wished someone would have greeted me this way with no judgment. I get to witness the amazing change, and growth in them as they go through our program. It's one of the best feelings in the world. The staff at Clean and Clear are some of the most caring individuals I have ever met in my life. I am happy that I work in an environment where I don't have to hide my story. My story is now testimony."

Here is what Jamaal had to say: "First, receiving this recognition and being able to work in this facility with the amazing staff members fills me with gratitude. I can remember when I was once a client in a facility like this I remember the struggle I had to overcome and the willpower it took to do so. The meaningful work of supporting individuals through their recovery journey motivates me to continue giving back and paying forward the help that I received. Once again I would like to say thank you, tremendously, to the staff members and the clients who help me become a better person every day."

This week's staff spotlight is Bethany Green, BSN, RN - Nursing Supervisor. Bethany has been with us since the beginning. Her dedication to our clients and staff is second to none. Thank you for everything you do, Bethany. We truly appreciate you. Here is what Bethany had to say:
"Prior to working at Clean and Clear Advantage, I had knowledge about addiction but I didn't truly understand it. Addiction is not just a result of one bad decision or a horrible mistake. Addiction is so much deeper. Addiction stems from craving temporary relief from burdens that feel impossible to bear. This temporary relief is a trap that will consume you. Before you know it you are absolutely lost and see no way out. My experience at Clean and Clear Advantage has given me the opportunity to instill hope and show these individuals that this trap can also be temporary and there is a way out. The path to recovery isn't easy and it's a long hard walk. It may be difficult but you never have to walk alone. Taking that small first step may be the biggest step of your life."

Here at Clean & Clear, we believe in helping the whole person, and that includes feeding the body nutritious food. Matt has been our Kitchen Manager since we opened and he takes great pride in leading the Kitchen Team - feeding and comforting the body so that the mind and soul can focus on recovery! Program Update: Since we expanded services on February 2nd, we have admitted 26 women into our residential treatment program. We accept new clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are ready when you are.
