In an effort to help our seniors stay safe during the current heat wave, please see the links below as well as an attachment with phone numbers of offices that may be able to help with information and instructions. Plans for such emergencies are up to the county officials in each individual county, and the plans for cooling centers may differ somewhat, if they actually have them available.

Any citizen can call their county Office of Emergency Management (OEM), who can inform them of cooling station locations. (Local government officials can possibly assist as well).
