Friday we celebrated Ms. Leslie’s official retirement. She is such a blessing to the program and kids that she works with daily. We are excited to announce that she will be back two days a week in October!

The race starts the first day school! August 20th. More race details and updates to come. Helping kids balance the importance of education and learning to manage their behavior and emotions!

We came into work this morning to see two beautiful flowers and a thank you card from Lowes in our front entrance. Thank you so much for see the change we are trying to make in this community! We feel blessed.

So proud of this room, these kids have grown so much in the past few weeks. When we started they did not want to come in, kept to themselves and struggled to interact together. Now not only are they side playing but the are walking in the building with confidence and we are seeing more positive emotions out of them. Bless the staff for making a change in their lives and creating this opportunity to continue to allow them to grow their skills over the summer.

First field trip to Discovery World in Parkersburg was a success. The kids got to have fun, play, learn some new information and work on the skills they have learned in group in the community

We have to share a proud moment! We started our first group of children with moderate to severe autism this summer. Side play is a difficult task for kids with this diagnosis. These kids have been doing so well at trying new skills. We could not be more proud of this group of staff and kids!
