Wood County Society Sensitive Easter Bunny Registration is now LIVE!

Sensitive Easter Bunny is Sunday, March 15, 2026!

Sensitive Easter Bunny is a program designed to allow children of all ages with different abilities a calm and relaxed atmosphere to visit the Easter Bunny. Families are invited to enjoy their visit with the Easter Bunny in a stress-free and sensory-sensitive environment.

We scream for ice cream and our incredible community members! Our hearts are full, we could not be more grateful for the amazing turnout we had yesterday for the Telethon Kickoff Party at Mountain State Creamery. Every single person made the day a success and filled the space with connection, energy, and community in action!

Thank you to everyone who gathered together yesterday to enjoy a sweet treat with our team, learn more about our mission, and donate to kick off the Annual Telethon season! Your collaboration makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals of all abilities across our communities, all of our communities members feel valued, recognized, and included in settings like these.

We’d especially like to thank each of our local Celebrity Scoopers for giving their time and energy to support our mission, WTAP Television for sharing our story with the community, and Victoria and her dedicated Mountain State Creamery team for being gracious hosts and powerful advocates for the individuals we work alongside!

Thank you to Kiwanis Club of Marietta Ohio for your generous donation toward Sensitive Santa at Wood County Society in 2026!

Back in November, we had the opportunity to attend a Kiwanis Club meeting and share about the programs, resources, and collaborations we offer and participate in throughout our service region. Kiwanis invited us back to one of their January meetings and gave a donation that will serve as a sponsorship for the Sensitive Santa event that supports the sensory needs of children and families in our community!

Please join us in thanking Kiwanis for this impactful donation and consider supporting their 70th Annual Pancake Days fundraiser at the Elizabeth Sugden Broughton Community Building in Marietta next Friday and Saturday, February 6th and 7th!

Temple Challenge 4:15pm and 7:00pm Aqua classes are canceled today due to weather ❄️—BUT don’t you dare put those leggings back in the drawer just yet 😏

📢 TC Low Impact will still be having in person class at Emmanuel Baptist Church at 5:15pm

💻 We ARE still getting it in with a LIVE virtual workout at 5:30 PM!
No commute. No cold. Pajama bottoms totally acceptable (we won’t tell).

✨ The positive? Showing up looks different today—but it STILL counts. Movement is movement, consistency is consistency, and choosing yourself on a weird weather day is a WIN.
