Thank you again to everyone who made the 2026 Telethon possible! Enjoy some highlights from the day and the impact all of you continue to create! 🎉 We are incredibly grateful for the support of our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, VIPs, and community in this collaborative day of fundraising each and every year.

We'd also like to give a special thanks to the Parkersburg Country Club, WTAP Television, Premier Productions Entertainment LLC, Balloons On Grand Central at Gift Gallery, Alpha-lit Parkersburg, and Artbeat Studio for their outstanding support in making the Telethon possible!

On behalf of the entire Wood County Society staff, Artbeat Studio staff, Board of Directors, and families served, THANK YOU to every donor, volunteer, VIP, student, community member, and supporter who made the 2026 Telethon possible!

Our hearts are full, and our team could not be more grateful for the time, talents, ties, treasures, and testimonies each of you gave to support individuals with intellectual and developmental differences across 12 counties in our region. Thank you for making an impact on local, accessible, and cost-free programming that provides opportunity to so many. There will be more highlights of this day to come as we compile pictures and footage.

This event would not be possible without all who gave in so many different ways, and it would not look the same without the community who supports our organization, programs, resources, and mission. Thank you all for an unforgettable day of impact - we are already looking forward to next year!

March 21st marks World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated as Rock Your Socks Day! Participate in this day by wearing your most fun pair of socks and prepare to share why you wear them!

Efforts like Rock Your Socks support advocacy for people with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities this March. Share your socks and your stories of why you support individuals with intellectual and developmental differences tomorrow, and stay tuned for how we rock our socks at the Parkersburg Easter Parade and Lip Sync tomorrow!
