Parker Place will be holding a special Flag Decommissioning Ceremony as we respectfully retire our American flag with the dignity and honor it deserves.

The ceremony will be conducted by the American Legion Post #285 Parkersburg, Iowa Parkersburg Sons Of The American Legion and members of the Legion Family. We are honored to have them join us for this meaningful tradition of respect and patriotism.

We are excited to officially open orders for our upcoming Lunch for a Cause at Parker Place, supporting our local EMS heroes.

To help us serve our community as smoothly as possible, we kindly ask that you place your order ahead of time using the link below. Ordering early helps us plan, prepare, and make sure we have plenty of meals ready. We will also be taking orders at the door!

“Park It Here, Bingo” wraps up on Tuesday, May 5th at 1pm at the Parkersburg Civic Center. We will be back in September, so look out for the dates in August. We want to thank all of our sponsors for Bingo Prizes and they are: Friends of the Library, Schuck Realty Co., A-P Fertilizer, Greenbelt Bank and Trust, Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity, Care Initiatives Hospice, Parkersburg Chamber of Commerce and a number of anonymous donors for their prizes. We also want to thank the attendees for helping to set up and take down tables and chairs at the Parkersburg Civic Center. Also thanks to Parker Place for calling bingo and bringing the goodies. The Library supplies the coffee and coordinates all the prizes. So come on out and we will have a few extra prizes to give away during out last Bingo Session. Let’s see if we can get over 50 attendees the last round for the season! Bingo is free and for All Ages!
