Congratulations to the 2026 Camden Clark Auxiliary and Camden Clark Foundation scholarship recipients! 🎓💙 During our annual Auxiliary Luncheon, more than $167,000 in gifts were announced supporting hospital services, employee initiatives and healthcare education across the Mid-Ohio Valley.

The event also included the presentation of $17,000 in healthcare scholarships awarded to local students pursuing nursing and healthcare-related degrees.

⭐ The Auxiliary presented four Leo D. Carsner Healthcare Scholarships totaling $12,000, including winners:
• Andrea Mercy — West Virginia Junior College, Nursing
• Sidney Kisner — WVU Parkersburg, Certificate of Applied Sciences
• Jessica Wagoner — WVU Parkersburg, Nursing
• Kelsie Greenman — WVU Parkersburg, Nursing

⭐ The Camden Clark Foundation also announced two Nursing Alumnae Scholarships totaling $5,000, including winners:
• Skyler Herricks — Washington State College of Ohio
• Lena Burns — Western Governors University

🎗️ May is Clinical Trials & Research Month — highlighting the critical role research plays in creating a better future for people affected by cancer.

⁉️Did you know that advances in cancer care rely on clinical trials and volunteers who help make new treatments possible? Clinical trials are carefully designed, closely monitored, and essential to improving medical care. Thanks to research, patients today have access to earlier diagnoses, more targeted treatments, reduced side effects, improved quality of life, and better chances for cure.

CCMC offers on a permanent basis a spectrum of 27 clinical trials open for your benefit and for future patients benefit. They involve different and innovative treatments for types of breast, lung, gastrointestinal, ovarian, uterine, pancreatic, kidney, bladder, oral, head and neck, and prostate cancer, in addition to a smoking cessation intervention.
