Our Leading with Heart winner for Quarter 2 is... 🥁🥁🥁...

🎆 TYLER KEEL! 🎆

As our maintenance assistant, he puts so many hours into the building from indoor and outdoor beautification, making sure everything is working properly, residents have what they need, and makes sure beds, phones and call lights are working before every admission. Not to mention driving the facility van when needed, central supply, and helping out as a CNA. Tyler goes above and beyond for Parkersburg Care residents and staff, we are truly lucky to have someone like him on our team. Congratulations Tyler, you definitely deserve this one 👏❤️

Parkersburg Care Center teamed up with Starbucks, Panera Bread, Dunkin Donuts and Walmart to provide a FREE breakfast for our first responders! We thank each and every one of you for the hard work you put in everyday (including our nursing staff!) We appreciate everything you do for us and for the community, and thank you to our community restaurant/store chains for helping us provide a free breakfast to these hard working individuals!

This week's Leading with Heart recipient is none other than Brittany Anderson (+2🤰💙💙)!

Brittany is our speech therapist who oversees our PT/OT department. She is always spending time with our residents, advocating for them, and making sure dietary needs are met for all the residents in the facility so they can enjoy their food safely. She is kind, caring, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Thank you for everything you do!

Parkersburg Care Center has had some changes over the past couple of months, so we thought it would be a good time to reintroduce our team! Some faces you'll recognize, and some are brand new.

Starting with our facility Administrator, Kirstin Reed!
She became a licensed NHA in December 2021, and obtained her health care administration degree from Ohio University in 2013. She has always worked in health care and wanted to do more, especially at the height of COVID, leading her into a facility as an administrator.
During her free time, she enjoys live music, boating, any chance to get outdoors and spend time with her children. We appreciate everything you do for Parkersburg Care Center!
