Wood County Society American Sign Language Class Registrations for the 2022-2023 Season are now OPEN! Please visit www.woodcountysociety.com/asl to register today!

American Sign Language classes will begin in September, and be held on Monday and Thursday evenings. You will be contacted when beginning dates are finalized.

Of course you have your hearing checked annually but what about your pets? Can they still hear the cheese wrapper?…the lid to the treat jar?…the delivery truck outside? Our spokesmodel Lola was in recently for a hearing evaluation and all was well!

We have set aside a verrry limited number of appointment times for pet hearing evaluations today only Friday APRIL 1st!

His acceptance speech was really touching!

Deaf actor Troy Kotsur won the best supporting Oscar for his role in “CODA.”

He is the second deaf person to win the golden statue after Marlee Matlin ("CODA" costar) won best actress in 1987 for “Children of a Lesser God."
