What better way to end the busy holiday season than with a fun New Year BBQ! It was a beautiful day filled with happiness, laughter, friendship, and full bellies.

Peter was a fantastic celebrity chef, busy at the grill, and we even had an ice cream truck to complete the meal. We’re already looking forward to our next BBQ fun day 🍔🌭🍦

Four years ago, one of our late and truly great residents, Anita Brownstein, had the inspiring idea to write and produce an Allegro resident-only show. With no help from staff, she wrote the show herself, auditioned fellow residents, and together they created something truly wonderful.

In her honor, each year since, our resident Ed Gerhardt has proudly carried on this tradition. Every year he has written and created a brand-new themed show, each one thoughtfully making reference to life at Allegro.

This year’s production, Imagination, was dedicated to life here at Allegro and to our incredible staff. There were two performances and both very well attended by families, friends, residents, and staff alike.

We thank everyone involved for their hard work, dedication, countless rehearsals, and for putting on such an amazing show. Please enjoy a few highlights.

Big thank you to Diane and her friends who graciously donated sock buddies to our residents just to make them smile for the holidays. Your generosity and warm and caring spirit is much appreciated. The residents enjoyed picking out their favorite one and love displaying them outside of their apartment homes!
