We just love the title, “Somatic Awareness, Nature-Based Regulation, and Reflective Integration: An Outdoor, Nature-Based, Animal-Inclusive Experiential Workshop”!

Because I can never keep a secret…We are working on some very exciting stuff.

April 2026, is the 20 year anniversary of Hope-thru-Horses, Inc. Every time I feel like shutting the doors, retiring, going a different direction, in walks a fresh clinician wanting to join the team, a client wanting an animal-inclusive experience, or in this case the “right” partnership NC Retreats .

We’ve been wanting to serve everyone for much more than the “therapy hour”.

Here’s what we got brewing. We’ll see how it evolves.

“Below is a CE-ready program description written in licensure-appropriate, clinically grounded language that reframes the experiential elements using evidence-informed, ethical, and scope-of-practice–aligned terminology. The tone and structure are suitable for licensed social workers and mental health practitioners and can be adapted for CE approval applications.”

(It isn’t below.) We’ll release all of the details once it is approved.

Humana

Since the Humana change Jan. 1, all of our checks were mailed to 162 Schmidt Lane, Lumber Bridge. We haven't had that address in 9 years. Humana sent all checks since Jan. 1 to that address and they were returned to Humana.

I've called numerous times in an attempt to update the address and get them readministered. Today, I attempted to change it on the Humana website, but nothing goes through on Chrome or Safari.
The representative wanted a claim from each individual check issued since Jan. 1. I'll create an excel sheet and letter to mail, but this is incredibly time consuming on top of receiving no reimbursement since 2024.

Is there a less tedious way to address this?

Anything you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
