Our Story

Welcome to our page! Here you notice office information, as well as, health tips, dental resources and overall dental health information. We are a dental practice focused on patient care in all aspects of dentistry, including hygiene, restorations (fillings), endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), oral surgery, and implants. Our modern treatment rooms with the most up-to-date technology help us provide the best care for our patients. Both doctors have advanced training in implant placement and restoration, endodontics, prosthodontics, treatment of the medically compromised patient, OR dentistry, oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Our doctors believe that learning is a lifelong journey and are constantly updating their knowledge base with continuing education courses. We treat all ages and are currently welcoming new patients! Meet our doctors! Dr. Gordon J. Zorn: He is a Baltimore native, attending Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and later receiving his undergraduate degree from Drexel University in Mechanical Engineering. He later attended University of Maryland Dental School, and completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. He has been practicing in the “Hereford Zone” for over thirty years at the current location of the practice. Dr. Gordon Zorn enjoys staying up to date with the latest technologies. In addition to numerous continuing education courses, he also completed an implant dentistry program through Dentsply Tulsa Dental Endodontic & Implant Division. He has also taken several courses focusing on cosmetic dentistry, always focusing on the best patient care. In his free time, Dr. Zorn can be found watching the Orioles or Ravens, or on the golf course. Dr. Candace Zorn: Dr. Candace Zorn was born and raised in Maryland, and grew up watching and working in her father’s dental practice. After attending Maryvale Preparatory School, she received her undergraduate degree from Drexel University, in Philadelphia, PA, where she graduated cm laude with a major in Biomedical Engineering. She knew her passion was in dentistry and received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, graduating with honors. While in dental school, she was President of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and was selected to participate in a Pediatric Clerkship her junior year and Special Patient Care Clerkship her senior year for advanced training in those particular specialties. She went on to complete a hospital-based residency at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. This training prepared her to treat challenging cases, patients with special medical needs, and emergency care. In her free time, Dr. Zorn can be found with her husband, son, two daughters and dog exploring all that Maryland has to offer. Professional memberships include: Academy of General Dentists, Maryland State Dental Association, Baltimore County Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
