January is Thyroid Awareness Month.

Not to create fear.
To create understanding.

Many thyroid issues don’t announce themselves loudly.
They show up as fatigue, anxiety that feels physical, cold intolerance, digestive changes, or labs that don’t quite explain how you feel.

Awareness means knowing what to pay attention to.
And knowing you’re allowed to ask better questions.

Advocating for your health is not being difficult.
It’s being informed.

The thyroid doesn’t always shout.
Sometimes, it whispers.

Day 5 and Day 6 of Kwanzaa. Nia + Kuumba.

We paused to remember our purpose.
And then we created from it.

This is how alignment looks behind the scenes.

Quiet. Honest. Powerful.

Day 4 of Kwanzaa. Ujamaa.

Ujamaa reminds us that wellness and survival are collective.

Today, we chose to circulate care by feeding our community.

Two fridges filled.
Meals shared.
Responsibility honored.

Tag. You’re it 🤍

Day 4 of Kwanzaa. Ujamaa.

Ujamaa means cooperative economics.
In simple terms. We build each other up by supporting each other.

Today is our community service day.
And service doesn’t always mean a grand gesture.
Sometimes it’s a tag.
A share.
A purchase.
A moment of visibility that helps a small business keep going.

So today, we’re doing a good deed together.

✨ Tag a small business you love.
✨ Support them if you can.
✨ Share their work so others can too.

Tag. You’re it.

We’re starting by tagging , a business doing meaningful work and deserving of support.

This is Ujamaa in action.
Circulating care.
Circulating resources.
Circulating community.

Let’s keep it going 🤍

Day 3 of Kwanzaa. Ujima.

Ujima means collective work and responsibility.
It reminds us that wellness is not a solo project.

When one body heals, the whole village breathes easier.

This reflection is about recognizing when to ask for help.
And when to offer it.

Because shared care isn’t extra. It’s essential.

Day 2 of Kwanzaa. Kujichagulia.

Kujichagulia means self-determination.
The right to define yourself.
And in wellness, the right to name your health truth.

This is for anyone who was dismissed.
Minimized.
Told to doubt their own body.

Today is about challenging limiting beliefs that were never yours.
And replacing them with truth, clarity, and agency.

✨ Comment KUJICHAGULIA to receive our free
Self-Mastery Workbook. Define Yourself. Direct Your Health.

Your body speaks.
Today, you listen.

Day 1 of Kwanzaa. Umoja. Unity.

Togetherness isn’t passive.
It’s intentional.
It’s reflective.
It’s relational.

Today, Umoja asks two simple but powerful questions.

How am I really feeling right now.
And who is holding me up as I heal.

Unity in wellness begins with reflection.
Naming what went well.
Naming what needs to be released.
Naming the weight you’ve been carrying alone.

And it continues with community.
The people who support your health.
The ones you lean on when answers feel unclear.
The ones who remind you that healing doesn’t happen in isolation.

Because shared care is real care.
Collective health is sustainable health.
And wellness grows strongest when we stop pretending we can do everything by ourselves.

✨ Comment UMOJA to receive our free Unity in Wellness Workbook
A True Phoenix Kwanzaa Wellness Reflection.

Today, we honor the people who hold us.
And we commit to showing up for others with the same care.

This is Umoja.
