Every year the same rockstar truck drivers carry our fresh cut Fraser firs from North Carolina to TALMAR. Mark is at the tree yard now loading up and will hit the road this afternoon!!

Some of our indigo was accidentally harvested this morning, so our VAFARMS program decided to see if the fresh leaves would work as the dye we expected later this season. VOILA!! Vanessa is true blue TALMAR with the indigo hands to prove it.

Lake Roland is offering a “secrets of the serpentine” (rocks, soil, plants in the park) workshop Wednesday at 11. The naturalist asked us to spread the word that this program is designed to be inclusive of people with disabilities.
