We fired up some examples of the fun things you can make at our ornament fundraiser December 7th and 12th!
Our ornament fundraiser is set up for you to pick from over 30 different ornament shapes and create an ornament to treasure for years to come.
All proceeds supports our art therapy program. We’d love to see you there.
Thanksgiving is only THREE WEEKS away, and we've been busy prepping for our holiday meal distribution. We are pleased to once again offer free hot meal delivery on Thanksgiving Day, in addition to a hot meal service at the St. Augustine Hunger Center.
The Thanksgiving meal program is possible thanks to the generous support of our partners at Barons Bus and Barons Hockey, as well as contributions from long-time partner Elk & Elk Co. Ltd. and local parishes.
Thanks to everyone who has signed up to volunteer to prepare and deliver meals. If you want to help, consider collecting shelf-stable goods for our FILL THE PANTRY donation opportunity on November 26. Learn more on our website: ccdocle.org/holiday

We are so happy to invite you to our annual Catholic Charities - Diocese of Cleveland fundraiser to benefit art therapy services at Matt Talbot!
Please join us on Sunday December 7th, 10am-1pm or Friday December 12th, 4-7pm. Each event lasts 3 hours, but please arrive one hour before the end to ensure you have enough time to complete your ornaments, which can take 30 to 45 minutes.
Each participant can choose a pre-made clay ornament shape and glaze (paint) it to their liking. After the event the ornaments will be fired in our kiln, creating a lasting keepsake to treasure for years to come. We will contact you once your masterpiece is ready for pick up -no later than December 20th, so it is a perfect Christmas gift idea!
A small selection of handmade ceramic items will also be for sale and perfect for gifting this holiday season!
See flyer for additional information and register today. All are welcome, including children, but we ask that they are supervised by an accompanied adult while working on their ornaments.
Facilitated by licensed professional art therapists, art therapy offers our clients a way to find relief from overwhelming emotions, crises, or trauma, while also creating space to discover personal insights and enhance overall well-being.

Another retirement to celebrate! Laura Furjanic helped thousands of people begin their journey to recovery as a key member in our intake department. Whether she accepted calls from referral sources or potential clients themselves, Laura always went the extra mile to help them gain admission to our program.
Help me thank Laura for a decade of offering hope and healing and give her a shout out in the comments.

The Matt Talbot Programs have been a valuable community resource for more than 50 years- sheltering, feeding, and serving men who suffer from alcohol and drug addiction. The program was founded in 1965 by Father Berard Scarborough, O.F.M., as a halfway house for addicted men. He named it in honor of the Venerable Matt Talbot, an alcoholic from the age of 12, who became sober at the age of 28 with the help of God and his community.
The goal of the Matt Talbot Programs is to help men start their recovery journey by committing to an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle. We strive to restore the human spirit and empower men to gain dignity from living a responsible and productive life.
Matt Talbot Programs serve all men-regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, disability, or ability to pay.
