Shukuru Kanyefu, Customer Service - is the Employee of the Month for September 2025. He's been with Pleasant Lake Villa since December 2024. What he loves about PLK is that everyone is nice to him. He enjoys caring for our Residents. He became a new father to a beautiful baby boy in March 2025. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer. He is planning a trip to visit family in Europe in the near future.

Happy National Assisted Living Week!! We celebrated our amazing staff and residents with goody baskets and desserts. John N., Maintenance Dept., is our Employee of the Month for August. He's been with Legacy Health Services for 5 years and with Pleasant Lake Villa for one year. What he loves about Pleasant Lake Villa is the great people that he works with and the fact that every day allows him the opportunity to make a small difference in the residents' lives. His favorite food is spaghetti and meatballs. One of his favorite hobbies is collecting vinyl records; he owns over 3000.
