Sometimes our emotions feel overwhelming—and very real.
But what we feel isn’t always the full picture.
The “Check the Facts” skill helps us pause, slow down, and gently ask ourselves:
👉 What actually happened?
👉 Am I reacting to facts… or assumptions?
When we take a moment to step back, we give ourselves the opportunity to respond more intentionally instead of reacting in the moment.
