We are so Thankful for our wonderful patients! We all know that an attitude of gratitude is important and a recent report from UCLA discusses the "physiology of gratitude". In summary gratitude may help reduce brain inflammation! Other studies suggest gratitude activates the parasympathetic nervous that aides in improving sleep and digestion. Further studies demonstrate gratitude reduces cognitive decline by slowing brain degeneration. Link to UCLA article below.
