Dolphin Medical Group Internal Medicine

Dolphin Medical Group Internal Medicine

Well, Dolphin continues to underwhelm me with their services. I just got a letter today saying they could no longer provide me medical care. No explanation was given. I just saw Dr. Casado on March 22 to get a refill on some meds. Everything seemed fine at that visit. The only problem I think is that I made an appointment in November to see Dr. Aldrich, a cardiologist, but the earliest they could see me was the middle of february (3 months). On the 13th of february, I had a heart attack and was transported to Blake hospital, which Dr. Aldrich is not associated. Having surgery and being sedated for a couple of days, the last thing on my mind was cancelling my appointment with Dr. Aldrich. Apparently this did not set well with Dr. Aldrich, which Dr. Casado told me so during my visit on March 22, saying Dr. Aldrich was not happy about the missed appointment. I must also mention that Dr. Aldrich owns Dolphin Medical Group. Also, Dolphin couldn't get my records from Blake. Not sure what the problem is there. Anyway, I don't think it will be very hard to another doctor.

We provide a wide variety of services for the convienience and complete care of our patients.

Dr. Casado is board certified in Internal Medicine with over 20 years of experience caring for patients. He completed a BS in Biology from the University of Illinois followed by an MD from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. He completed his Residency at Michigan State University and Internship at Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois. His career in Internal Medicine began in 1992 in Illinois and he moved to Florida to continue practicing medicine in 2009. Dr. Casado and his wife Cathy have relocated to Parrish from St. Petersburg, Florida and are excited to become a part of Dolphin Medical Group and the community in Parrish. Dr. Casado and his wife Cathy have 5 sons and one grandson, as well as 3 Golden Retrievers. Their interests include spending time with family and friends, visiting the beach, listening to live music, biking, going on cruises to watch the wildlife, and going on “staycations” around Florida to enjoy the beauty of the state. They are big sports fans and partial to the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks. The Casados are passionate about exercise and you will find them most evenings working out together at their gym Koko Fit Club.
